The
Proprietress Dr. Kerstin Kellermann
Kerstin
Kellermann, born 1972, comes from the “Bergisch Land“
– a hilly swathe of land east of Cologne. After graduating
in business studies from the Cologne Business School private university,
she took on numerous professional appointments in the drinks and
plastics industries and in translation management and health management
before going on to complete her part-time masters degree in 2002.
Kerstin Kellermann was conferred a doctorate from the University
of Stettin in 2005. Her dissertation on "Electronic
procurement logistics at small and medium-sized companies - chances,
risks, areas of conflict" appeared in November 2005 at
Deutschen Universitätsverlag publishers.
Kerstin
Kellermann is a sports enthusiast. She was an active competitor
at dressage events until recent years. The entrepreneur’s daughter is now a passionate golfer. After obtaining her doctorate
she came up with the idea of combining work with pleasure and designed
her own golf bag collection. In so doing, she was able to capitalise
on her personal love for aesthetics, functionality and perfection.
Kerstin
Kellermann's initial counter with the sport of golf resulted in
a special affinity for golf bags. The idea to develop her personal
passion for golf bags into a golf bag business was the result of
personal experience and ideas for improving the design and functional
features. After her successful startup in 2005, Kerstin Kellermann
discovered the art of custom stitching for the exclusive design
of golf bags in 2006. All embroidery artwork is designed and punched
by Kerstin Kellermann. Kerstin Kellermann learned the art of punching
from Daniela Hutter and Massimo Baezzato and through experimentation
with the creative embroidery techniques of Bonnie Nielsen. |
